Good location for our trip to Woburn Abbey and Milton Keynes shopping Good standard room and facilities - fair price.
We had asked for twin beds but found double on arival. This was soon changed by very efficient housekeeping staff on request.
It was the closest hotel to Silverstone Race Circuit.
I did not like the bar area being right in the entrance of the hotel. A constant flow of people walking through the bar area/reception. No separate restaurant for dinner as a wedding reception was being held in it. So only option was dinner at the bar in the middle of the reception area. We went elsewhere to eat.
Very clean, relaxed stay, friendly staff, well equipped room, coffee, iron, hair dryer etc..
The room was very warm, unable to open the window properly to cool down.
The hotel has a gym.
The bed was as hard as a board and the room very dated in style.
comfortable rooms and good choice of food at breakfast, very well cooked.
Very disappointed. Very tired bathroom. Food expensive and poor service. Staff more interested in lying tables than serving customers. Would not stay there again!
pleasant and proffesional staff . beautiful setting. the chef had handed over to two comis, he came and found us after to make sure we were happy with our meal, very nice touch . we were picking our daughter up from grendal halll summer school and stayed with you overnight to break up our journey . one of our better ideas that we will do from now on .
if i had to moan it would be that that there wasnt anywhere to walk , we started out and found the road didnt realy have a fooot path , so we turned back .
The hotel was a convenient location to the family that we were visiting. The room was a lovely low price, but the room was of a very high quality.
There were a number of functions on in the hotel during our stay, we were warned of this during check in, which was very considerate on the staff's behalf. However, our night's sleep was sadly constantly interupted by intoxicated guests running up and down the corridor with loud voices throughout the night. The pillows I'm the room were also very uncomfortable, which did disturb our sleep.
Location Price - had an economy last minute room which would have been reasonably priced had we enjoyed the stay.
Started in room 24 which had a blocked toilet. Very helpful duty manager moved me into 38A. TV didn't work, had batteries to remote changed, worked for an hour and failed again. Room 38A is a cell. No windows at all. Cannot believe that you can rent out a room without a window. Reminded me of Steve McQueen in "Papillion" I know it wasn'r expensive but that really is out of order. The room was hot and airless and neither of us slept well. As the aim of our stay was to get a good sleep before a very early start then it did not fulfil the purpose. Oh, and by the way, the shower controls don't work either in 38A..
The hotel was very good for a hotel just off the motorway.
We ordered food to take back to our room and were charged for room service dispite the fact that we carried it back ourselves. When we got to the room the key would not work, we walked back to reception with our food to find there was no one there. We had to go back to the bar by which time the food was cold. The girl who was working in the bar was very helpful and found someone to sort out our key and arranged for another tray of food to be brought to our room. We had originally planned to eat in the bar but there was no atmosphere which is why we decided to go back to our room.
The staff were helpful & the cooked breakfast was great.
Ease to getting my appointments
Tea set up for one there were 2 of us ,no drinking water bottles only for premium payers we paid £80 plus, lack of bus and taxi bus stop knowledge, greeted dun no sorry ?? where trying to find routes, greeted with smile here 10 bits of paper to work out your times lack of bathroon soaps again set for one no hair cap breakfast was cheap nasty very poorly cooked, we came in at 8 and scarmbled dried out bacon hard dried out some triangle of something burnt moving tables / chairs around us so we hurried our breakfast tables in bar still crumbes on table did not feel welcome will tell others of poor attitude
Location and proximity to motorway
1. Staff unable or unwilling to reasolve problems with tv system and internet. 2.. Pasta served cold , and no offer of recompense for not eating it 3.room no ventilation or temp control in room in room extremely ho only window was in ceiling which was not accepable to open. 4. Toilet seat chipped 5.Bar funrniture heavily marker 6. Pillers in bar dirty round base 7. Room next to fitness suite , noise and vibration from running and running maching constent untill late. Not upto holiday inn normal standards very poor for £90 pernight , premier inn offer higher standard for half the price
The room was very comfortable and the reception area and staff were very good
The restaurant was very basic and the menu very basic. The food when presented was not of good quality. The bar area was very open and noisy - there's was no quiet area to sit and have a relaxing drink.
